The FABRI Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Alois Mehlhart GmbH, a successful and established plumbing company with its own plumbing workshop. With this merger, the FABRI Group is now also present in Upper Bavaria and strengthens its market position in the areas of sanitary, heating and air-conditioning technology (SHAC) and renewable energies.About Alois Mehlhart GmbHAlois Mehlhart GmbH was founded over 75 years ago and is the market leader in the HVAC sector in the Chiemsee region. The company is characterized by a stable order situation and a loyal customer base in a structurally strong region. Alois Mehlhart GmbH offers a wide range of services, including ventilation, renewable energies, bathroom construction, plumbing, service and maintenance as well as heating construction and modernization with a focus on heat pumps.Background to the transactionThe managing partner, Stephan Mehlhart, has been running the company successfully for 20 years and would like to further expand the existing business together with the FABRI Group. Stephan Mehlhart will remain on board as Managing Director and will work with the FABRI Group to set the company's strategic course for the future.

The professional presentation of companies in the craft sector is particularly important these days. Potential employees often first find out about companies in their area online, which is why it is crucial to present FABRI Group companies in a contemporary and professional manner. From April 24 to 27, 2024, the managing directors of all 11 FABRI companies met in Würzburg for an annual meeting. For our managing directors and the entire FABRI team, this was once again a place where important connections were established and lots of good ideas flowed. For our “new” managing directors, who joined the FABRI Group last year, this meeting was the first opportunity to engage in intensive exchange with the other entrepreneurs in the group. We were impressed by the openness with which everyone immersed themselves in profound discussions with each other. These dynamic discussions showed a strong interest and commitment to the issues that shape our corporate landscape.

We are proud to present the new FABRI corporate design today. Since 2020, we have been able to look back on continuous development. Today, as a successful group with 11 companies and over 350 employees across Germany, we are pleased to present our new corporate design, which represents our values all the more. Decentralization, partnership and longevity are of central importance to us. Our new brand identity manifests these values. A small square is the perfect basic form in the world of design. The square is the most stable of all shapes and therefore forms a reliable basis. It is complemented by an angle as a dynamic element that symbolizes craftsmanship. That is what we stand for, that is what FABRI stands for. The gap between the elements underlines the decentralization of the FABRI Group, and thus the independence of our companies. It is not decided “from above”, but by the “local people.” Another chapter begins, with a new image as a strong symbol of a successful future.
