YOUNG FABRI in Würzburg — Impulses for leadership and implementation

The YOUNG FABRI’s met for the fourth time in March in Würzburg. The focus was on the targeted development of our young talent, as well as on exchange and practical insights for everyday work.‍The two days were entirely dedicated to leadership, personal development, and the future of the skilled trades. In addition to getting to know one another, the main focus was on the question of what development actually means today—and how it takes effect in everyday life.‍A special insight came from Hubert Schwarz, who, drawing on his experiences in extreme sports, offered an impressive perspective on performance and goal achievement. His central message: Much is decided in the mind. Clarity of goals, dealing with setbacks, and the ability to persist consistently even during difficult phases are decisive factors for sustainable development.‍On the second day, Susanne Lührmann brought a very practical approach. The focus was on employee reviews and the importance of structured preparation. It became clear: Good conversations do not happen by chance. Clear objectives, a defined framework, and the right questions are crucial not only for conducting reviews but also for actually achieving results.‍Another key focus was on the topic of artificial intelligence in the skilled trades, including insights from Dominik of the Institut Perspektive Handwerk. The central insight: Most AI initiatives fail not because of the technology, but because they are not consistently implemented in everyday practice. Ideas and tools alone do not create added value—what matters is their practical application.‍The decisive factor, therefore, lies not in the next tool, but in clearly defined use cases, functioning processes, and above all in the people who take responsibility and actively drive issues forward. It is not the best idea that prevails, but the one that is implemented.‍The meeting demonstrated once again that decisive progress rarely arises from technology alone. Rather, it is mindset, preparation, and consistent implementation that make the difference.‍The YOUNG FABRI meeting in Würzburg thus once again underscored the importance of formats that facilitate exchange, broaden perspectives, and provide concrete inspiration for everyday work. Our young professionals are ready to take on responsibility and actively shape the future of the FABRI Group.

With THIELE Heizung und Sanitär GmbH & Co. KG, an established HVAC company in the greater Frankfurt am Main area is joining the FABRI Group. ‍ THIELE Heizung und Sanitär GmbH & Co. KG based in Gießen was founded in 1997. With over 40 employees, the company is active in the areas of installation, service and maintenance and has a strong position in project business for public clients. This clear orientation has ensured a stable, reliable and predictable order situation for many years. ‍ Jochen Thiele and Kurt Veltrup are managing the company, who have decisively shaped the company since its founding and continue to run it together. With Elektro Henseler GmbH, the FABRI Group is expanding its presence in the field of electrical engineering in the greater Cologne area with a high-performance and broadly based company. ‍Elektro Henseler GmbH, based in Swisttal, was founded in 1998 and currently employs over 40 people. The company is active in the installation, maintenance, and assembly of modern electrical engineering systems. Its range of services includes building technology, network technology, security systems, and e-mobility solutions. The company's broad range of expertise and existing order backlog provide a reliable operational basis.‍The company is managed by its founder, Markus Henseler, who has played a key role in shaping Elektro Henseler GmbH since its inception and continues to bear responsibility for its operations. Focus on training: Exchange program promotes trainees in the FABRI Group

With a joint exchange program, Heger Energietechnik GmbH and Lörcks GmbH have shown how cooperation within the FABRI Group can work. Trainees from both companies swapped jobs for a week in order to gain new perspectives, learn from each other and experience the diversity within the group up close. The two companies are active in the electrical engineering sector, but have different priorities: Heger Energietechnik GmbH stands for renewable energy and focuses on photovoltaics and modern storage solutions. Lörcks GmbH, on the other hand, specializes in large public construction projects and implements complex electrical installations in the infrastructure sector. During the exchange, the young colleagues gained valuable insights into other ways of working: They accompanied projects from planning to implementation, got to know new technologies and contributed their own ideas. This not only gave rise to professional impulses, but also to personal contacts. The idea for this exchange was born at the first YOUNG FABRIs meeting and has now been successfully implemented. FABRI Group strengthens its network in the south: Geuppert Elektrotechnik joins the group in Lower Franconia

With Geupert Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG, the FABRI Group gains a strong member in Lower Franconia. The traditional Hofheim-based company with over 100 years of history stands for quality, innovation and regional responsibility while remaining firmly in family hands. ‍ Around 43 employees, including 12 trainees, get energy moving every day — from classic electrical installations to photovoltaic and storage technology to modern smart home and security systems. In doing so, Geupert Elektrotechnik supports its customers from planning to commissioning and places great value on quality, efficiency and individual solutions. ‍ managing director Thomas Borst has been running the company in the fourth generation since 2006. Together with his wife Tatjana Borst, he will remain on board in the future. “Independence, stability and local responsibility — these are values that unite us,” says Thomas Borst about joining the FABRI Group. “I want our company to retain its structure and culture — and at the same time have the security of being transferred to good hands in the long term.” Geupert Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. First regional meeting of FABRI companies in the Frankfurt area

The FABRI Group's strength is networking: bringing people together, sharing experiences openly and quickly understanding who is doing what, in which regions the companies are active and which clients are working for. Managing directors, authorized signatories and project managers came together at the first regional meeting of five FABRI companies in the Frankfurt am Main area. After short rounds of introductions, the dialogue followed immediately — with noticeable results: more transparency about services and capacities, more direct communication channels and a common understanding of where cooperation makes sense and is effective. ‍ FABRI Group principle: Decisions remain decentralized. Each company acts independently — collaboration is created where it creates real added value for clients and teams. The direct connection within the group makes coordination faster, more precise and more reliable in everyday life, without curtailing the independence of individual companies. ‍ The exchange on best practices was particularly valuable — particularly in the areas of employee recruitment, leadership and retention. Specific impulses include a realistic approach and streamlined recruitment processes, leadership with clear expectations, feedback and responsibility, as well as commitment through development prospects and tangible recognition in daily interaction. This is how networking becomes an effect — for the FABRI Group teams and for their clients.
